Welcome to the Health Design Network
The health sciences: medicine, nursing, pharmacy, public health, and other related areas, are more conscious of the contributions that design can make, and there is a growing need for designers to acquire or further develop the knowledge and skills required in this domain.
The scope of the Network is to connect designers and health care professionals working, teaching and/or researching in the health design intersection, and to create a database of case studies and other relevant information in the field. The Health Design Network is supported by the International Institute for Information Design (IIID).
There is a need for interdisciplinary collaborations that would integrate design and health to make sure that health design proposals are realistic, contextualized, a high priority to address, and based on evidence, so that we are able to respond effectively to the complex and ever changing demands of health systems.
If you want to become a member of the Network, please send us an email. Membership is free, but you are expected to be active in the field of health design.
